Dirt

This is one of the worst weeks of the year for me at work. Helping coaches make last-minute grant-in-aid changes, getting room and board checks cut for the spring, making sure the Scholarship Office and Cashier's Office are up-to-speed on the changes, and trying to manage all the other things that come up when you work in Athletics Compliance.

So the little bit of comic relief I got on my drive in to work this morning was just what the doctor ordered...

You know when you are driving behind a filthy school bus and some teenager has written "WASH ME!" on the back window? What I saw this morning was a slight spin on that timeless joke...

I was behind a dump truck. It was, well, quite dirty. And hand-scrawled across the back of it into the dirt was this:

I LIKE DIRT
IT PAYS THE BILLS

Guy's got a point. Too bad I don't drive a dump truck. Then I'd have an excuse for what MY car looks like right now...
