I took the morning off work so I could chaperone. And, of course, my camera came along for the ride! Ivie's partner for the day was Lizzie, so I got quite a few pictures of the two of them together, along with a few of their other classmates.

We were only there for an hour, but it was the perfect amount of time. The kids had a fun nature walk/scavenger hunt, looking for squirrels, birds flying/singing/swimming, a sundial, berries on bushes, a boat, etc. They also had some time to feed dried corn to the ducks.

The first field trip was, by all accounts, a success. Ivie can't wait for the next one!
