Water Fights

Thanks to the Target Dollar Spot, we are now proud owners of 5 (one for each of us!) squeeze bottles perfect for summer water fights (Or picnics.  Dual-purpose!).  The girls wanted to try out the 3 new ones, and Sunday provided the perfect hot weather...

Ivie's First Grade Field Day

On May 17th, the Lower School celebrated Field Day.  I was the self-appointed photographer for First Grade Blue (who wore yellow for the day), which meant the parents had to suffer through about 200 pictures that I posted afterward to the class's Shutterfly Share Site.  And that wasn't even counting the multiple shots of Ivie that I took and didn't bore the rest of the class with!

I believe it goes without saying that the water games were the favorite activities.  The weather cooperated, too, as it was a steamy mid-80's day.

Gotta love Field Day!

 

 

The Hare and the Tortoise

Ivie's class studied Aesop's Fables in April and May, and the unit culminated in skits for the parents.  Ivie, along with her friend, Borden, were "The Hare and the Tortoise."

Dale was out of town, hence, a video.  If you have 3 minutes to spend watching kids playact, I'm sure you won't be disappointed...
